How we share your information
With your knowledge and written consent
When you ask us to submit a completed form to USCIS, EOIR, or another government agency, we do so only with your knowledge and consent.
With a translator or notary you have approved
When translation or notarization is part of your service, we share only what is necessary for that specific task, and only with people who are bound to confidentiality.
With an independent attorney you ask us to refer you to
If you request a free attorney consultation, we share only what you tell us to share. The attorney is independent of B308; we do not pay or receive referral fees.
When required by law
We will disclose information when a court order, subpoena, or government demand legally compels us. When we do, we will promptly notify you in writing — except where notification itself is prohibited by law — per the requirements of the NY Immigrant Assistance Service Provider Act.
Never sold
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not use your information for advertising targeted at other people.
Document handling (NY GBL §460-d)
New York law requires specific protections for documents you give us. These rules are also written into every service contract we sign with you.
- We do not keep original documents you submit with a government application.
- When you give us an original document, we give you a signed form affirming receipt and a complete copy of the document, immediately.
- We give you a copy of every form we prepare for you, free of charge.
- We retain copies of completed forms and accompanying documents for three (3) years, as required by NY GBL §460-d.
- You may request a copy of your full file at any time, on demand and without fee.
- You may obtain supporting documents for your application yourself. The U.S. government provides forms and instructions free at uscis.gov and by phone at 1-800-870-3676.
Your rights
Right to access your file
You can request a complete copy of your file at any time, free of charge. We will provide it on demand.
Right to correct your information
You can ask us to correct any information we have about you. We will make the correction unless we are legally required to keep the original record.
Right to delete (subject to retention law)
You can ask us to delete your information. We may need to keep records for 3 years to comply with NY GBL §460-d, but we will delete what we are legally permitted to delete.
Right to cancel your service contract
You have 3 business days to cancel any signed service contract without penalty and receive a full refund within 15 days. You can cancel at any time after that; we may keep fees for work already done.
Right to opt out of marketing
If you receive newsletters or marketing from us, you can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us.
How we protect your information
We use reasonable physical and digital safeguards: locked storage of paper records, access controls on devices and accounts, encrypted email when sending sensitive documents, and limited access to your file by staff who actually need it.
No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. If a security incident affects your information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.

This website uses minimal cookies. Our hosting provider (Vercel) sets a small number of technical cookies needed to serve the site. Our booking widget (GlossGenius) sets cookies inside that widget when you use it.
We do not use targeted advertising, retargeting pixels, or social media tracking. We use Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools to see how the site performs in search results; neither stores personal information about visitors.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work without them.

Children
Our services often involve minor children as the subject of a petition (for example, a child being sponsored by a parent on Form I-130). In those cases, we collect only the information the petitioning adult provides about the child, for the purpose of completing the form. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through this website.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be noted at the top of the page. Your continued use of our services after a change takes effect means you accept the revised policy.
